Understanding the technology behind our performance analysis

Powered by Google

Our service uses the official Google PageSpeed Insights API (version 5) to analyze web pages. This means you get the same accurate, reliable data that Google uses internally.

We believe in transparency. All analysis data comes directly from Google's servers – we don't modify or filter the results.

What is the PageSpeed Insights API?

The PageSpeed Insights API is a free service provided by Google that analyzes the content of a web page and generates suggestions to make that page faster.

It uses Lighthouse, Google's open-source auditing tool, to analyze pages and provides both lab data (simulated) and field data (real-world user experience from the Chrome User Experience Report).

Official Documentation

For developers who want to integrate the PageSpeed Insights API into their own applications:

How We Use the API

When you submit a URL for analysis, our service:

  • Sends your URL to the Google PageSpeed Insights API
  • Receives the complete analysis data from Google
  • Formats the results in an easy-to-understand interface
  • Highlights actionable optimization opportunities

We don't store your analysis results permanently – each analysis is a fresh request to Google's API.

Data Accuracy

All performance data comes directly from Google. We don't modify, filter, or manipulate the results in any way.

The scores and recommendations you see here are identical to what you would get using Google's PageSpeed Insights tool directly.

Fair Usage

To ensure our service remains free and available to everyone, we implement reasonable usage limits. For most users, these limits will never be an issue.

If you need to perform large-scale analysis, we recommend using the Google PageSpeed Insights API directly with your own API key.
